(1/3) The Aurora Borealis - 5/11/24 - This was the first time I'd seen the Borealis in Colorado; this was taken off my back porch. The green color banding is emitted by lower altitude Oxygen.
(2/3) The Aurora Borealis - 5/11/24 - Driving east a bit revealed a lot more color saturation closer to the zenith; the red hues are emitted by higher altitude Oxygen.
(3/3) The Aurora Borealis - 5/11/24 - Another shot much further East; All of these color bands were visible with the eye. The slight hues of blue are emitted by Nitrogen.
Solar Eclipse Totality - 8/21/17 - Shot on a Canon 70D w/ a EF 135mm. Took a 15 Hour, 511-mile motorcycle trip to get this shot.
